I am going to knock you off your feet with my AWESOME Application. OTL. I didn't have to do this Application, ja, but I was going to share my AWESOMENESS around the world. And my Sister Gilberta is going to help me. Ja.
*My Reflection**
Nation: Kingdom of Prussia
Name: Gilbert Beilschmidt
Gender: You'd be stupid if you thought the awesome me is a female.
Appearance of Age: (Unknown) 18
Hair Color: Whitish silver; however, it does not concern his age.
Eye Color: Dark reddish-crimson.
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 127lb
Appearance:
Gilbert's silverish white hair is one of the most interesting detail on his lithe and lean-muscled body, along with the dark, crimson eyes. The whitish hair covers his eyes sometimes, which is bubbling with all kinds of surprises and problems for others, especially for ones he dislikes. It's hard to look at him straight in the eye, however - the reddish hues stare into you like nothing, and you would look down in a second. He takes that as a proud matter, however - he mastered intimidation.
Usually, his lips are turned upwards into a smirk, worn around mostly everyone. If seen, he has the signature haughty expression evident on his face. He doesn't smile often, using the exterior smirk and sneers instead. It's a part of his personality. His skin is pale and smooth, and feels cold to the touch. He doesn't know why, but it just is. Sometimes, when speechless, he licks his lips a lot, causing it to be split and unhealthy.
Gilbert's usual attire is a deep Prussian blue military uniform, and it looks a lot alike with the Luftwaffen Fliergerbluse with a Knights Cross of the Iron Cross on his tie. It is very crisp and well-ironed, and this habit comes from being under Old Fritz's reign; the man helped Prussia be the man he is today.
Even though Prussia looks very thin and weak, that is not true. Because of his problems with Russia, it has made him weaker than before and also very less of his usual self. Because of his malnutrition, he is shorter and less muscular than his bruder, Germany.
**Know Thyself **
Personality:
Prussia has a very big personality, especially for his ego. He loves to tell others that he is the best, and that anyone could challenge him; but he'd win, of course. Threatening others are also fun for him, and loves to prance around, threatening and warning others for if they don't obey him, they'd get on his bad side, and that would be very, very bad. Annoying others is also one of his specialties, and he loves to poke someone until they explode. It's a interesting time for him, and he enjoys people freaking out for the things he caused.
Friendship is also important for Prussia, but he doesn't notice it yet. He's rather blunt when it comes to socialism. He can be described as anti-social, and he says he would rather be alone, doing things alone, but that's only the beginning and the scratch of his surface. Friendship and alliance are one of the most important things needed to be prosperous, but he keeps on believing that because he's awesome, he'll be able to pull through it. Because he's awesome, everything will just be a quick snap of his fingers and it'll be over, which is far from the truth.
It's very hard to read his feelings; he's that good when it comes to covering up his real self underneath the layer of skin and blockage. He doesn't try to be harsh, but the way that he comes off, his aura goes against him and he ends up looking like the original, bad villain. When sad or bad times arise, Gilbert doesn't show the sadness or the panic often, smiling and smirking, while in his heart, he's worried like nothing. When alone, the situations worsen and he begins to lose everything, like in a trance. It's a side of him he doesn't show often, and he doesn't want to show people, either.
Even though Gilbert might not look the part, he is extremely loyal to his friends and allies, sometimes going farther than what he is allowed to. To the ones he knows and cares about, he's a very kind and rather likeable person. However, to the ones who go and rub him the wrong way, can get into lots of trouble. Prussia isn't the one to let go of grudges, and if it is especially his friends who are getting into trouble or is getting hurt, than Gilbert will do self-sacrifice, or to the last drop of his extent.
Like everyone else, he's not fond of giving up, and wants to go on until the end. As much as his jokes and pranks might be cruel to the one who is receiving them, Gilbert doesn't have that much ill-will or malice behind them; it's just a pleasure of his, watching people be uncomfortable, twitchy, or irritated. It's one of the only ways he is able to keep his happy demeanour, even though he might receive ends of mean comments and actions in response.
Prussia is also very cocky and arrogant, very full of himself.
As a good Bruder, he loves to check on West, or Germany. He loves spending time with him, but sometimes lets the other work on his own, so he can develop further knowledge.
... And he loves writing Diaries, having a library-chock full of them. Of course, it always starts with, "I am so cool~~!"
Likes:
★ My awesome chick on my head~ Its name is Gilbird, okay?
★ Frederick II ; Old Fritz (Ah... Fritz...)
★ Cute Things (Hmm... I think that's why I like Feliciano~!)
★ Teasing Others (It really IS fun~!)
★ Germany (I love West, he's a awesome bruder... I just wish he would be less stiff.)
★ Roderich. (WHAT? ERASE THAT!)
Dislikes:
✖ Russians, and basically Russia
✖ Smell of Vodka and Sunflowers
✖ Snow
✖ Failure, losing
✖ Being ordered around or being reminded of his bad times, such as Russia's reign and Fritz's death.
Fears:
☣ The thought of everything Russia
☣ Being rejected or condemned
☣ Thought of as a villain, with no happy things in life
Secrets:
♦ Secretly, Gilbert has a crush on Roderich.
♦ He can play musical instruments; however, not in public.
♦ Gilbert is secretly afraid that there will be no one for him in the end, as he continues to tell himself over and over that he will be fine - he's awesome.
Strengths:
Scheming and Planning
If there is something that Gilbert excels in, it would be scheming. He's very good at analyzing the situation and making things work, and when that happens, he's very complex that he starts talking to himself or acts like there is no one there except for him and his thoughts. Because of one man in his life, Otto von Bismarck, he's great at planning and understanding the dilemmas he could be in, going as far as to be in his enemy's shoes and evaluating their location by the time he would strike, making things very organized and lessening the chances of losing.
Lying and Deception
This might not sound good, and others wonder why this is his strength. It can be explained, however - when Gilbert finds out about an situation, he does his best to fit in with everything so there will be no missing pieces for any dilemma or costly situations that may arise. Having a wardrobe full of clothes comes to his advantage, especially when he tries to pretend like he's someone that he is not for deceiving someone else. Overall, Gilbert knows how to talk to someone to wiggle his way out of situations, who to talk to, and the way to squeeze information from the person in question.
Detective Work
Ah, here is something Gilbert uses his eyes for. The dark crimson irises can be used for intimidation, which is indeed, the real uses for them. However, he can pick out things that is wrong in the picture, much like the 'Guess What's Wrong In This Picture'. He's basically good at guessing and overall looking-over-the-situation, correctly pulling out flaws and problems from any plans, making it as perfect as possible.
Loyalty and Devotion
When something catches Gilbert's attention completely, he's a slave to that. He loves fitting the pieces together, especially if it emotion-related. With Roderich. This is rather a serious topic for him, and he will do anything to protect anyone that is important to him, to any place or part of the land, even to self-sacrifice.
Weaknesses:
Haphazardness
Gilbert is rather careless in life, and makes decisions he should think twice on. This could be somehow explained in which he goes out to drink with his friends or allies, and drinks way too much, ending in him experiencing the never-joyful hangovers at the next day, in the morning. He can also get hurt easily, without even trying to be hurt. Most of the accidents he goes through is because of his carelessness, and even though he tries to stop the habit of doing so, it's a challenge for him.
And this is why Gilbert needs Roderich; so he can take care of this one. <3
Frederick II ; Old Fritz
This is a very touchy topic for Prussia, as this man was the stepping-stone for Prussia's good reign and planning. If it wasn't for Fritz, he would never had been this far in life by now. If someone mentions Frederick II in a ill or bad way, he can expect a punch in the face for sure, now or later. But even if Gilbert is reminded or hears something about Fritz, he becomes very sober and sad, leaving the group of people to his room or somewhere he can be alone, solitary. He wishes his actions would make Old Fritz proud, and thinks that he is watching over himself, Gilbert, up there.
Problems with Russia and Everything Related
Alas, here is a problem Gilbert has not been able to get rid of since the time it happened. His conflict with Russia was not a pleasant one, and he hates his weaknesses for that. But when some things reminds him of the terrible times, such as water pipes, sunflowers, or being tied down along with bondage, he begins to shake uncontrollably, as if in a trance. It's hard for him to snap out of them, and would be generally easier if someone was next to him, soothing him. As said by a smart philosopher, it's better to be with someone in the time of need than without. Gilbert also does not take being cussed at, yelled at, or being ordered around lightly, and if someone touches him in a inappropriate way, especially near his privates and below the waist, then he's most likely going to find ways to torture that person after he comes out of the shock.

Gilbert had been relaxing in his room, writing quickly yet in a new notebook, his tongue sticking out of his mouth at the corner, focused on his writing. The old journal had been forgotten at the edge of the wooden desk, and the pen scratched smoothly on the paper, as his crimson eyes glowed brighter for the achievement of getting yet another notebook and ending his collection. But another thought overcame his head and he frowned, the former spark in his eyes gone. Where would he stash these awesome journals of his? Standing up, and stretching his lithe body, he winced at the sound of cracking joints, reminding him of the long time he was sitting down, interested in writing.
The chick, or Gilbird as he liked to call it, peeped for its master's attention as the Prussian chuckled, a rare sight and sound for those who weren't there. He made his way to the windowsill, where the chick had been resting in its little cage he had made for it, specially. He petted its head with one finger, then looked out to the sunny outside, wishing that he could enjoy the sunshine as well. But he couldn't leave the house, and he abhorred bees and insects in the springtime. Gilbert shuddered as he saw a extremely unawesome, fuzzy caterpillar crawl up a stalk of --
Every contentedness was torn away from his heart and mind as he recognized the flower. It was the Sunflower, which, in his mind, was as bad as Russia, because it reminded him of the damned man who had control over him. Prussia's worst days had been because of that ... Russian, and he disliked him forever for it. Actually, it was worse now, and dislike wasn't a adjective to describe their relationship anymore. Wait, what relationship? Gilbert shook his head to clear the thoughts from his muddled brain, his fingers tightly gripping the railing of the windowsill so harshly that his knuckles were quickly getting white with exhaustion and pressure.
"No, no... Dammit, Braginski..." The other's name rolled off of his tongue like liquid, and he felt like throwing up the contents of his lunch. He gripped his silver-white hair in his hands, tearing away from the window. Where was others when he needed them? Where was Antonio, West, or even Francis? Sitting down at his table once more, he shut his crimson eyes tightly, as if - if he closed his eyes, then the image of that Russian would leave. But it didn't.
Gilbert didn't know how long he stayed at his desk, clutching his head, but it was quite late now, and his tired, red eyes strayed to the digital clock that read, '6:40PM'. Sighing, he lifted himself from the chair, almost falling over from not using his legs as he should have. Growling, he began to walk down the stairs, not happy with the fact of how weak he was behaving. Old Fritz wouldn't be proud, and that was the least thing he wanted. Rubbing his eyes exhaustedly, he sat down on one of the kitchen stools and leaned on the counter, his head propped up on his pale hands and arms.
"Where are you, West..." Prussia whispered tiredly as he looked out the dusk, thankful that no Sunflowers were in his sight. Closing his eyelids, which were already drooping, he let himself fall into the world of dreams instead of eating his dinner. He didn't hear anything or feel anything until the next day, when he began to fall off the stool; it had no back-leaner, and he groaned from the place on the floor.
He needed to go see Austria, now.
