It was no secret.
Allie F. Jones was an athlete.
And as such she was currently shooting some hoops in the gym right now. The tanned girl was certainly dressed the part with her white tanktop and red athletic shorts. Shoulder length blonde hair was out of the way since it was currently pulled up in a ponytail. Not that it usually got in the way, but it was best to put it up just in case. Heroes were always prepared for every outcome after all! And she couldn't risk her hair getting in the way!
Thump. Thump.
That was the sound of the ball making contact with the court floor as the American girl was dribbling her way down towards the basket. "She dribbles... she shoots..." dictated Allie out to herself as she aimed the ball towards the basketball hoop.
Swish went the net as the ball easily slid into the hoop.
"... And she scores!" whooped Allie as she pumped her fists into the air, "2 points for Team America!" And the whole cycle continued on until she got bored with the whole thing. But for now she was in the basketball zone.

It was no secret.
Madeleine Williams was not an athlete.
And as such, the quiet, shy girl had been walking along, her book in her arms, and her glasses drooping down her nose as she read, her chin tucked down. A slim finger went up to adjust them, and brushed back her bangs as she did so, sighing as she heard someone talking in the Gym - unfortunately, it was the place where she was going to go to read - seeing as how the time was free; everyone else should have been out of the Campus or something, and not in here because she needed to read!
"He-hello?" Madeline peeked in the Gym, he voice soft and quiet. Then she realized who it was - Alexandra, her sister. Sighing a little as she came in, she tucked the book under her arms and went up to her tall, athletic, and heroic sister, looking upwards as she raised her glasses once more.
"Y-you're playing basketball again, e-eh?"

Allie was so much into her zone of dribble, layup, slamdunk routine that she didn't hear the soft little hello that echoed throughout the gym. It was true that today was a no school day and as such there was no one supposed to be in the gym at this time. But Allie was never for one to follow the rules just exactly. She followed her own brand of justice! And it was an awesome brand of justice! After all, she had read enough comic books and seen enough movies to know all the rules of being a proper hero!
However, the American was pulled out of her happy little place when the most familiar of voices entered the vicinity of Allie's attention span. It was scary how identical that voice could be to hers at times. But it was like the meeker, quieter version of herself. She wouldn't say politer because as a hero, Allie was always polite! But she also believed in the power of freedom of speech! Used responsibly of course. With great power came great responsibility- standard hero fare right there.
She paused in her dribbling as she brightened up considerably at seeing her twin sister. "Maddie!" she exclaimed lovingly to the other.
Yes, this was one of those rare days that Allie remembered her sister.
Although to Allie's credit, she never really did truly forget Madeline. Maddie was just too damn good at being a ninja! It was kind of cool really! She was like that one sci-fi story by HG Wells... The Invisible Man, wasn't it? Yeah, that was it! Contrary to popular belief, Allie did like to read. And it didn't even have to pretty pictures like comics! She just preferred her awesome science fiction novels! That wasn't the point though.
The point was that Maddie had some awesome invisibility skills. Of course, she wasn't the main hero like her, but Maddie was her own brand of heroic!
... Even if she was ridiculously quiet it wasn't normal at times. But it was kinda cool. Maddie always listened to her! And didn't judge... too much. She was kinda scary when she was mad though.
The American resumed pounding the basketball against the floor as she cheerfully nodded towards her sister. "Yup! I am! It's fun! You should join me! A little one on one action would be good for you, Maddie!" she replied.
And then she threw the ball towards her sister.
Maddie could catch it, right?

Well, wasn't this a surprise? Her sister actually noticed her. That was one of the best times, is when Allie actually remembered her. A light smile raised itself on her lips as Maddie set the book down onto the little podium at the side, then shyly shuffled to her sister's side. Of course, she didn't want to play this game if she already knew that she would lose; Madeleine Williams was not stupid.
When Alexandra began to tell her to play a game of Basketball, the blonde-haired girl was about to run the heck out of the gym with her book as if England's food was being dangled right behind her. Now, Maddie was never the athletic type, and everyone knew that. The problem was, she wasn't fast enough. Right. What was she thinking about? Running.
A bit too late. Second later, Madeline found herself on the floor, her hand on her head, wincing and getting a bit teary. Her breaths came out in short, little gasps, as if trying to not cry with the very action. Allie was too tall, she noticed - when she threw the rubber ball, it was meant to aim for her chest, so Maddie could grasp it. But seeing as how she was so short, it had hit her head instead.
"H-hooa..." A shaky little breath came out of her pink lips, and her hands massaged the aching spot lightly, then shook her head as the stars gathered in front of her eyes once more. The Canadian looked up at her sister, biting her lip as to not cry. She was such a wimp, and she realized how much lame she would look to Alexandra - on the floor, cradling her head, and soft, baby purple eyes teary.
"S-sorry, I guess I should have caught that, eh..." Getting up, Maddie's hand pushing her body upwards, she ran to get the ball and returned it to her sister, holding it up to her.
"B-but, Allie, you know I'm going to l-lose, so what's the point, eh..." The purple-eyed, petite girl sighed as she rubbed her head, then took off her thick jacket, revealing the T-shirt inside. She didn't like being seen with her jacket or hoodie off - she was way too shy. Besides, she wasn't curvy, either. Darn it, why did she come in here, anyway? A side of her liked it because she was spending time with her sister, Alexandra, but a part of her was a bit hesitant in playing basketball - what if her loved sister told everyone that she sucked *major pencils in sports?
OOC:
* Nothing sexual implied by this, I swear. I didn't want to say arse or ass, so. :3
Also, Madeleine getting hit by the Basketball - I totally dreamed about it. When we were talking about this thread, I knew this had to be done. XD

Oh shit. She did not mean to do that. Sometimes, having super strength (or at least Allie thought she did- just further proof she was indeed a super hero!) wasn't the best of thing to have. She always had to hold back, because if she didn't incidents like this happened.
The American blonde girl rushed over to her sister in concern and kneeled down to meet the poor girl she had knocked down. She offered a hand to the other to help her up because that the heroic thing to do.
And that's when she saw those purple eyes directed towards her.
Now Allie could put on a pretty awesome kicked puppy look.
But nobody could do it better than Maddie.
Because right now, all Allie wanted to do was to hug her and tell her it was okay. She just felt awful. And furthermore, Maddie had ran to go get the ball that had rolled away after hitting her sister right on the head.
"Yeah, you should have Maddie!" she piped up with the brightest of smiles, "But it's okay, sis! It just goes to show you that you need to practice more!"
Besides this was all their mother's fault. If she hadn't packed up her things and left for that frozen wasteland, then she would have grown up with her sister and her other brother! Maddie would be so much better at sports if she had been with her and Al!
"Winning isn't the point, sis! It's just spending time with my favorite sister in the whole entire world that's the point!" answered the teenager, "So come on and play with me~ And we'll work on your sporting skills too so stuff doesn't like this doesn't happen more!"
She wasn't going to laugh at her sister! That was pointless. She was Allie F. Jones- self proclaimed heroine of Hetalia Academy! And what kind of heroines laughed at someone's misfortunes? She was going to teach her sister how to play basketball!
... Although she would never beat Allie at her own game.
