Zesiro stood face to face with nothing but thin air. She took a deep breath drawing her sword from the strap on her hip and pointed it forward. It was about midnight, Zesiro's favorit time of day, right when nobody was out and she could be alone.
I remember peering out from behind walls in my outfits reviealing myself and dancing drawing in my victims closer and closer thinking they will have a little fun. Then I turn the tables around and I'm having the fun... Now I'm not allowed to kill anymore. I'd get cuaght and I already am risking so much.
She let out a deep relaxed sigh calming herself pulling her energy into her core and began to swing the sword one way and then the other. She looked like a profesional. Even her footing was correct; standing just the right way so that she wouldn't be able to be knocked down. She edged forward gracefully yet powerfully swinging the sword in deadly motions with enough strength to tear a limb off. It was just sharp enough too. With her eyes still closed she gave it one more powerful lash and when she opened her eyes part of a tree branch was collapsing to the ground. She didn't pride herself in this. She took a second look remembering how she moved. Wrong. She told herself backing up. She seemed so good but she was fixated on formation, she had to be the best! No room for mistakes. She backed up once more slashing her sword one way then the other with her eyes still closed. Movements so graceful like a gazel-- powerful like a lion. One more slash and when she opened her eyes there was a clean scratch on the tree. 'I wish I had a partner,' she thought to herself. 'Oh, a victim.' She shook her head placing one hand on her head. "Again," she told herself backing up. She began to make her stances making her moves but she heard something... maybe someone? She turned around lashing her sword outwards not wanting to kill or harm the person but maybe just surprise them. But when she saw nobody was there she didn't lower her sword. She stood there, still and silent waiting. [/blockquote]

Heracles Karpusi was dead tired, and he wasn't happy about it. His hair was rather limp and sagging, and his emerald eyes showed how tired he was. That was why he had been out during this calm and cool nighttime, carrying his kitten, Kalypto in his arms. He was barefoot, which wasn't the best of ideas - there could be broken pieces of glass or items lying around on the unorganized floor of the Academy, especially outside. But that was the least of his worries when he was seriously going to fall asleep and slump against the floor in an heartbeat.
Rubbing his tired eyes and yawning, he hugged Kalypto tighter to his chest and smiled as the kitten purred and snuggled itself warmer against him, and walked on, his foot crunching some leaves on the floor, along with the soft grass. The Greek sighed; hopefully he would be getting peace and quiet now, out here, out alone --
A slashing sound awoke him completely, and he was on his guard, emerald eyes opened wide and one arm to defend himself if necessary. Of course, if you're holding a kitten, it wasn't the easiest thing to do; however, at these types of times, you really needed to be on your guard and stealthy, or it could cost you your life. And what was a person doing with a sword, anyway? No weaponry was allowed...
"I... I mean no harm, and I am just here to rest..." Softly, gently, as if coaxing a little kitten. Heracles didn't know who this was, and it was more dangerous because of that factor.

Zesiro stared at him for a moment but then realized this wasn't the desert, her 'Master' was dead, and most inmporatantly this mand didn't need to die. She lowered her sword strapping it back to her hip. "sorry,"
she said. Her eyes looked distant as she came back from a short memory of her nights in egypt when she was on her missions. She didn't have to do that anymore. She shouldn't harm anyone here. Not unless she wanted to be in even more trouble. "Rest? Yeah, it can get pretty chaotic in the academy," assuming he did go to the academy that is. Zesiro understood that sometimes peace and quiet and being alone was just what some people needed. "If you want to be alone, I can go some where else," she offered hoping that he would let her stay. She examened the man and then noticed the kitten. "I'm Zesiro," she said in a friendly tone hoping he wouldn't hold the rough start against her. "And you are?" she asked pushing the memories completly out of her mind. She thought it would be easier but over the years they just came back to huant her. She figured it would pass right? She waited quietly with a friendly smile on her face and gave him a chance to respond mostly curious to see what he had to say after this. Most wouldn't be too happy with a sword in their face. She knew she wouldn't be. [/blockquote]

Heracles stared as the woman put away her sword, her muttered sorry coming into his ears. She had a rather far-away look, as if she was dreaming of an... unpleasant dilemma, and he cocked his head to the left, but said nothing. He didn't want to ruin anything, even if it was something extremely small. He always thought of himself as nice, and doing such a thing would be very mean.
"Rest is always needed, and I can't get enough of it at the Academy, Apollo knows." The Grecian sighed as he ran a quick hand through his messy, bed-hair, and yawned a little, covering it with his hand. He peeked one eye, and shook his head. "You sound like good company, and besides... I think I can trust you to not cause ruckus." He replied, then let a pleasant smile come on his face. Er, he wasn't too trusting... He was. Heracles Karpusi trusted too much, indeed.
"Nice to meet you, Zesiro..." He paused, then looked at her with a sleep-covered eyes. "It's a pleasure. I'm Heracles, from Greece..." Normally he wouldn't be worried about giving information; usually, he was the one to do so. But seeing as how someone had basically put a sword to his face wasn't very ...
No, no. Shaking his brown-haired head, Heracles smiled as well, offering a hand.

Zesiro smiled. He seemed like a nice man so far, not at all a threat. Good company? Some people saw her as that but there were times in her life where people wouldn't say that at all. Especially during one of her "missions" when she had to fool people into trusting her. Bad idea on the other persons side since it was midnight and usually nothing good happens in the middle of the night.
"Thanks,"
she said cheerfully. "It's nice to meet you too Heracles," she added. She thought for a few seconds during the silence then realized she had a blank face on and was trying to push out all emotions. As soon as she realized that she put that same friendly smile on her face again. Usually she would probably just hug a person, stranger or not, but since she was a little off right now she took his hand. "Greece must be such a pretty place, I've never been there though. I'm a bit of a desert rat." she explained. She loved the desert and the heat, other places were great too. But home sweet home...right? [/blockquote]

It seemed like this woman had a lot to hide about her experiences; her facial expressions indeed changes quickly; once, she's smiling, and then she's blank. What in the name of Apollo... The Greek just shook his head, and hugged his kitten, whom in turn purred and rubbed its small head against his chest, and he couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle.
Heracles lifted his head, as Zesiro asked about Greece. Ah, yes, Greece was indeed a magical and lovely place, and he loved it there. His Motherland, his true home. He did get homesick, as well, so it was hard to avoid the topic of his home. His brown-curls sprung up and down as he nodded.
"Yes, Greece is a wonderful place... With all the History and Pillars and such. And wherever you're from, you shouldn't say you're a rat... Even though you might have meant it in a stereotypical way." The Grecian murmured, gently petting the kitten's fur, just behind the ears, where Kalypto liked it.

She kept that same friendly smile on her face. "Oh, I'm from Egypt,"
she said. "Yeah, I meant it like that." she agreed. Zesiro preferred warmth, the kind that you shouldn't go outside because it was too hot to but you went any ways. Currently she couldn't really go back since she was in a bit of trouble. That's the main reason she came here. She looked back at the cat still holding the same smile. "Whats his name?" she asked briefly lifting her gaze away from the cat to look at Heracles. She shifted from foot to foot for a brief second and then spoke again. "Would you like to sit down?" She asked glancing back at the tree with the fallen tree branch and then back at him hoping he wouldn't ask why she was practicing. Back in Egypt she used her sword so much it was hard to keep her hand off of it just out of habit. [/blockquote]

Heracles smiled as he stroked the soft fur, his green eyes unwavering as he heard where she had come from - Egypt. That was interesting. He had never been to Egypt himself, but had heard it was a wonderful and beautiful place. Even though he had also heard that it was a bit sandy and windy, but it didn't matter to him. Heracles thought it was exotic. "That's well, very interesting. I've always wanted to travel to Egypt to see the Pyramids." He admitted, then let a grin come on his features as he held out his hand, which had his kitten wriggling.
"Would you like to hold him?" The Grecian offered, his hair swaying softly as the wind blew around them. The kitten mewled, and he automatically held the pitifully meowing thing with both hands, his arms outstretched to the girl. Truthfully, it didn't look that bad - his kitten was just scared it was snatched away from the warmth of his chest.
"His name is Kalypto... I've had him for about two months now." Heracles added, then closed his eyes and he sat down, like she had offered. "I'm tired..."

"You should defiantly go then,"
she said cheerfully. "Seeing the pyramids is something you defiantly wouldn't want to pass up." Egypt personally loved the pyramids. They seemed to represent so much to her. They reminded her of home and she would begin to feel home sick since it was a little too dangerous for her to return home. She had made the mistakes in her life and now she was paying for it. So far it didn't seem very fair... she got to be here while everyone else back home was looking for her. Some how this would come back around to bite her in the butt. Now the memories were flooding back in but she couldn't help but push them away again. She didn't want anything to do with them or the guilty feelings. Not now at least. She could deal with them later when she was alone. She honestly didn't want sympathy from anyone and so far not opening up to anyone worked. Why should she start now? The same smile worked back up on her face when she saw the kitten. She was always preferred cats over dogs for some reason. Dogs were okay, but cats seemed so graceful and adorable at the same time. In a way she looked up to them. "Sure," she said gently taking the small creature from him and holding the cat the way he did. "That's a great name," she complimented rubbing the kittens head. She watched the man sit down and sat down next to him. She waited to see what he would say and continued scratching the kitten. [/blockquote]

"I should, indeed..." Heracles found himself yawning once more as he shook his brown head, then focused sleepily on the kitten and the woman. Apparently, she had something going on her mind that made her uneasy; whether it be him or something else. It just showed on her facial and body expressions, and his sharp emerald eyes caught the little tense movements and such. He was about to comfort her, but stopped. What if he pressed the wrong buttons, or did something wrong when he tried to do something right?
The Grecian obviously wasn't in the mood to make someone in a worse mood than before, and this Egyptian, Zesiro, had something going on. His mind was whirling, and he just stared at the blank, darkness in front of him as his eyelids began to flutter and slide downwards. He had enough sleep, but the Greek loved sleep - whether it be day or night. And especially if it was past midnight, and the breeze was calm and soothing. Trying to keep his conscious awake, he brought up a hand to rub his eyes.
"Thank you, I like the name myself." The tired Heracles Karpusi smiled, then leaned against the bark of the tree, the cool and calming breeze washing over him. Kalypto was a name that he had always loved, always. His sister, Ambrosia, had named Kalypto for him, and moreso because of the fact, he loved both the kitten and the name.

Zesiro was silent as she zoned out into the deep memory. The many nights she'd be out in the dark with only the stars and moon to light her path had huanted her. She liked her job, she loved to be in power of situations. Especially what happened after her mother. She began to fight off tears as that simple memory of witnecing her mother's murder flooded back. 'I should stop thinking,'
she thought to herself. 'But why can't I?' She felt as if she'd never live this down and didn't want to tell anyone in fear she was overreacting to her past. Keeping it all in was a lot better idea. But why did it have to be so hard? She closed her eyes and leaned her head on Heracles' shoulder and continued rubbing the small kittens head. She wasn't sure how he would react but she hoped he wouldn't mind. "Your welcome," she answered after a moment of pulling herself together. She wasn't sure what else to say to him. Egypt was always up around midnight just out of habit. She wasn't tired but perhaps a little rest wouldn't be bad? Maybe she should just close her eyes and let the thoughts flow just to get it out of her system now? Finally after her silence she spoke. "What was you mother like?" she finally asked keeping her eyes closed. It wasn't too far off topic from what she was thinking and perhaps it wouldn't help the thoughts but one way or another her memories would end and she would be acting like her normal self again. Right? As normal as she's ever been. The egyptian never really concidered herself very normal because of her past. "If you don't mind me asking," she quickly added. "Some just don't want to talk about their parents." Zesiro wasn't exactly the kind who talked about her mother a lot, she would talk about her though. Tell people how nice she was. However she would talk about her father a lot more and how much she hated him. He wasn't the nicest guy and she didn't care who knew he wasn't. However she kept her promise and didn't tell anyone about the accident in fear he'd come back for her. He already sends blackmail letters so he knows where she is. [/blockquote]

The Grecian peeked with one emerald eye, which was now glittering in the midnight darkness. He blew out a puff of air from his lips, then shook his head, smiling gently. No, it was never a bad thing to ask about his parents, especially his Mother. She was such a lovely and wonderful woman, after all. Opening both eyes, he focused on the blackened form of the Egyptian woman. "No, not at all. Let's see, my Mother was kind, sweet, loving... I get my laziness from her, I believe." A chuckle escaped his mouth as he snuggled into his white cape more, then continued.
"I appreciate your politeness, though... Indeed, some do not want to speak about their parents because of some matters." Heracles couldn't help but to lower his voice and ask her a question, allthewhile closing his eyes calmly. She did have a sword equipped at her side, even though it was sheathed. It still posed a rather big threat to the Greek - he was closing his eyes and had no sword or any weaponry on him, either.
"And... Yours?"
