'Damn. Damn. Damn.' Alfred stood, gaping, at the dormitory list posted by the front office. He had a big suitcase in one hand, and his usual hamburger in the other; this one was fresh from the McDonald's he had stopped by that morning before he headed over to the academy for his official first time. He had to get in early to settle in his dorm before classes started. Alfred had been there before, but only for an initial visit, and then for his interview.
'Why did I get Ivan, of all people? And his sister...! Well, at least Allie will be here with me...' Alfred hung his head in disappointment of the arrangements and started to walk slowly down the hall to where the dorm was. His shoulders were slumped and even his cheerful blue eyes seem to have become duller. He noticed that he had arrived quite late in the afternoon, so the others might have already settled in or were waiting for him or something like that.
Nervously, he turned the knob of the door and pushed it in...

"Ivan!" As soon as the door creaked open, Natalia dove at the person entering the room, clinging to their neck. "It's about time you got here; I've been waiting! And can you believe we're stuck w-.." The platinum blond cut her words off, realizing the person who entered was too short to be her brother. She quickly pushed the person away, a slight scowl appearing on her face. "Oh. It's just you." Living an ocean away from the United States, she still knew a good amount of English, although she retained somewhat of an accent when she spoke. 'It had to be the stupid American who came first. Why not Ivan? At least it's not his idiot sister.' Alexandria. Ugh. Natalia couldn't stand her. 'Her and her annoying, boisterous attitude. The girl really needs to calm down.' After a bit of thinking, she realized she was just standing there.
"Oh. Well welcome to my dorm," she began abruptly, "I'm taking this bunk." Natalia put a hand on her hip, the other pointing to one of the bottom bunks where her suitcase was already settled. "Ivan is going to have the other bottom bunk." 'So I can keep an eye on his, even in the night,' she reminded herself. Along with that, the bottom bunk always seemed to be the first choice in places, and to Natalia, it was like a privilege given only to the best people of the group; two justice-screaming Americans were certainly not better than her or her beloved. "Take whatever top one."
The Belorussian blond turned on her heel and strode over to her bunk before sitting down and folding her hands in her lap. Now that the bunks issue was settled, all she had to do was wait for Ivan to come and.. well she wasn't sure what now that she was at the academy. 'I never really planned that far I guess..' Whatever happened, she knew that her goal was to keep Ivan safe from the other females and to make him hers. 'Maybe he will finally see once we spend all this time together, that we have to be married,' she thought wistful. Natalia was oddly calm and less snappy as of now, tired from the long trip to the academy. 'I hope Ivan gets here soon..' She looked up at the American again boredly, vaguely wondering what he was doing while she collected her thoughts and hoping someone else would hurry and walk through that door.

Alfred froze up as soon as he felt a woman's arms clamp tightly around his neck. His eyes widened and his mouth was hanging open slightly in shock as he heard her speak to him thinking she was his brother. When she realized it wasn't him and let go, he let out an inward sigh of relief. At first, he thought Natalia was trying to strangle or kill him.
Quickly, he put his heroic face back on and politely informed her, "Ivan switched dorms. He told me in a text that as soon as he found out you were rooming with him, he asked for a change. He's with Antonio and Lupe or someone now." He prayed that he hadn't signed their death certificates by letting those facts be leaked to Natalia's ears, but he was never one for keeping secrets and it didn't concern him in any way. If he wanted to he could go and prove his heroicness to Arthur by rescuing the other two students from her wrath.
He waited for a little while longer and then realized she was waiting for him to do whatever it was he was going to do in that room. Alfred got to work setting his suitcase down on the bunk Natalia had previously told him that Ivan was going to have, and started to take out his things.

'Idiot-' She froze. Wait, did he just say Ivan switched dorms? Because of her? There had to be a better reason. 'Wouldn't Ivan be glad to be in the same dorm as me? He loves me! Why would he leave because of me? Maybe he thought I was in another dorm, and went to switch there..' Natalia's gaze turned to the blond, finally settling on an explanation. "You're lying." She rose and walked over to the bunk, putting whatever he had taken out back in his suitcase. "You.. you can't just switch dorms! It has to be against school policy! And what are you doing? I told you this was his bunk." She glowered up at the American, still a little confused about it all, but trying not to show it.
"So.. So put your stuff back and take one of the top bunks!" she added. The Belorussian stood there, mind racing. 'Wait, wait why? This has to be a mistake! He can't just leave me here with all these strangers and THESE people. NO. THAT MEANS..' A different roomie was coming to take Ivan's spot, and chances were that it was someone else she couldn't stand.
Really. Sharing a room with two related idiots was horrible, but Ivan being there it canceled it out. Now, there was no positive to the negative.. Instead of figuring he had abandoned her, Natalia finally convinced herself that there had been some huge mistake and that he would come looking for her later. 'But I'll have to go find him myself probably, since he always forgets.' She cast a thoughtful glance at Alfred. 'And if this idiot has his interest for God-knows-what reason, he'll probably be around him.' Ew. No following anyone but Ivan, not even to get to her beloved.. yet. That was for desperate measures. She finally calmed herself down and looked back at her first of three roommates.
"Fine. I'll just find him later then." Her scowl faded to a slightly less mild look of disdain. "So who took Ivan's place?" 'Because they are dead. DEAD.'
