The Brazilian sat in the sand digging her bare feet into the cool sand. Her bird nested in her lap as the water rolled up a few feet away from her. She had her jeans rolled up just in case the water came in to far. She let out a hum and watched the bird as it whiped its wings arund as he tried to get comfterble. "hello," it squawked a few times before it pulled its wings back in and puffed its feathers out to keep warm. "Hello,"
Maria answered. She watched the sun as began to peek up above the horizon seeming as if the ocean was relecing the giant flaiming orb. 'Such a beautiful sunrise,' Maria thought. The Brazilian was the kind of person who enjoyed the beauty in life. "Hello, Hello, Hello," the bird squawked as it paniced its way up her chest and too her shoulder. She glanced at the blue and gold macaw and smiled at him. The bird let out a hissing noise and opened his wings a little. "Hello," he continued. The bird took a likeing to that word however he enjoyed mimmicing cameras. Back in Brazil Maria enjoyed speaking to visitors and they loved to take pictures of her bird and he would mimc the sound of the shutter opening and closing. People thought that was so amazing. So Maria named the bird Kodak. But she didn't notice that the bird wasn't looking at her. He let out another hiss and cawed a hello. "Hello?" she asked this time not speaking to the bird. Maria thought it was amazing how her bird saw things before she did. Yet Maria didn't pay much attention to anyone if she was distracted by nature. [/blockquote]

Arthur jumped a little, surprised when the bird spotted him and, rather than chirping, began to say 'hello'. He grimaced a little, bringing a finger up to his lips in the hopes that the bird would understand and be quiet, but it was no use.
With a sigh, the Englishman approached the owner of the bird, intent on apologizing for ruining the peace before going on his way. After all, he'd only visited the beach to get a breath of fresh air, and maybe to see the sunrise. He hadn't done so in a long time.
She looked familiar, and he was sure that he'd seen her face around the campus. However, he'd never talked to her, and didn't even know her name. Still, he went up to her, smiling politely as he said, "I'm sorry, miss. I didn't mean to intrude."

Finally Maria heard the voice and carefully picked the bird up wrapping her hands around his body blocking his wings from flight. It wasn't too happy because Kodak gave her hand a quick nip but gave up when she put him back in her lap. "It's okay, I just came out to watch the sunrise. Would you like to join me?"
she asked smiling politely at him patting the spot in the sand next to her. "It's nice to watch the sunries. In Brazil I would watch it from a tree with my bird." she explained. "It's really nice on the beach though so that you can see the whole thing." People could tell upon the first conversation that Maria was a nature lover. She spent most of her time outside rather then inside watching Television. Besides, learning outside and reading outside was a lot more fun then learning inside a stuffy room and feeling caged. The bird squawked a few times as he mimiced the sound of a shutter from a camera and then finally settled down and began to rest. 'Nice to see Kodak being quiet for once,' she thought to herself. 'He gets so loud and I can't bring him into class because he'll disrupt everyone. So I have to leave him in the dorm. I hate using a cage so I have to give him some toys to distract him otherwise he could destroy the room. He's souch a trouble maker. I think thats why I like him.' She glanced back at the man and smiled again. "I'm Maria by the way, whats your name?" she asked. [/blockquote]
