Country's real name: Jan van Dijk
Country: the Netherlands
Age: 19
Occupation: Student
Origin Language: Dutch
Personality:
The first impression you could get from this guy is that he's a big, stern and uncaring bully. A guy who does what he wants, when he wants to. Perhaps this impression isn't far from the truth. Jan has always tried his best to stand his ground when needed. He's appears to be constantly annoyed, but he does have a big heart. He works hard and keeps a eye out for whoever needs and deserves the help, providing this in his own way. He masks most of his feelings with a indifferent or annoyed attitude.
Socializing was never one of his strong points, and it still isn't. His methods can be harsh and/or demanding, especially when other's are being stubborn and generally get on his nerves. The Dutchman has a bad temper yet somehow manages to keep this under control enough to keep himself from needlessly harming anyone.
Despite his generally rough exterior and attitude he's a nice guy when you get to know him. Jan has always been loyal to those who helped him in the past. There's a real gentle heart buried deep inside of him, a side he expresses when he feels at ease with someone or something.
He does tend to hold grudges, acting more cold to those people. There's also a part of him that seems to enjoy fighting, and he will certainly do so when it comes to protecting or claiming what is his. Other than that, when it's really not his fight, he will watch from afar, observing the situation rather than mixing in.
History:
Jan comes from a pretty wealthy family, with two hard working parents and two younger siblings. To keep their comfortable lifestyle his parents were away a lot, leaving Jan to look after his sister and brother. While spending most of his childhood with them their relation doesn't seem strong, or so he sees it at least.
They were provided with all they would need on every front, from simple items such as clothing to everything for their study, which he chose to follow at home. His grades were decent enough, yet around age 16 Jan began to rebel more, skipping his classes to 'experiment' with several things, try some drugs, drink some beer. He wasn't a trouble child as many assumed, his attitude barely changed which really helped keeping his relation with the family in good standings.
Jan was also lucky he had the ability to stop this living style before it got out of hand when mid 17, resuming his regular study. The reason his parents got him into this school was mainly to get him off of his habits and set him for life with such a diverse study.
Jan has always been pretty indifferent about it, mainly doing what he wanted. There are only few bad habits left from this such as smoking and blowing on occasion these days.
Example of your RP Structure:
How was it possible that out of all places to go to, he ended up right here. A big, empty and useless train station, abandoned for years, littered with the remains of, well, anything really. Humans, mutants of every sort, garbage, and so on. It was a rather depressing sight to see yet it wasn't the worst. No, Jan liked this scene more than most other places in the wasteland.
It was one of the few places that remained mostly unchanged, or maybe that was just this particular train station. The buildings at this very place had suffered minimal damage when compared to the rest of the world. It was still bad, but then again, not the worst. Hell, this place was still easy to navigate trough even with all the trash, and not many people could have cleaned up here, considering the mutants here would scare them off. Thankfully they were no match for Jan's gun and sharp aim. A quick few shots at their heads and they were done with.
After having covered most of the ground inside that station Jan, luckily, found a staircase, hidden behind a torn wall that lead up to one of the platforms. Arriving out there he was greeted by a sharp ray of sunlight, and a lot of dust flying about, how nice. He looked around for a bit to see if there was a bench or sorts he could rest on. Being out for long was tiring after all.
Instead he spotted two completely different things.
“Oh no you won't, you little rat,” muttering to himself Jan got out his gun, took aim at a stray bird, and shot it. These damn mutants were a outright plague, honestly. The gun was kept tightly in his hand as the man walked over to the dead 'animal', he reached out as he began to crouch down, picking up something that wasn't to far away from the dead thing.
How on earth did a book survive? Somehow he felt relieved, to find a thing like this in the middle of no where. His relief was visible on his face, even more so when his amber eyes landed on a stable looking metal seat, attacked to a thick brick wall. He walked over to it with big steps and sat down right away.
His attention shifted to the book he held in his gloved hands, trailing his fingers over the cover. There wasn't much to be seen on it anymore, perhaps inside. Flipping it open Jan was greeted by a familiar, yet unfamiliar language. Even after all these years, he could not forget the German language. The similarities between that and his own were huge. Time surely healed all wounds, the man's dislike towards his cousin was completely vanished. Who knew if he was alive anymore anyway?
It was a strange thought, one of which Jan didn't want to bother with. At least the book would provide him distraction from thinking about this. Now he hoped he wouldn't get to lost in it that he'd lose notice of his surroundings, what if someone managed to show up? It was a good place to rest after all.

(I hope everything is alright like this orz also, just saying, the sample is from this one forum where it's all fallout based with a nuked world xD; )
